Meet Indy Hughes, a sophomore pursuing a degree in marketing! Originally from Ada, Oklahoma, Indy discovered SNU when a coach reached out about soccer. Now, she serves as an RA in Bracken and enjoys being involved throughout student life across campus.
She says, “When I visited, I just really liked how welcoming the atmosphere at SNU was. And now that I am here, I like that it is a Christ-like environment and that everyone here is very engaging in friendship or fellowship- all while pushing each other in faith.”
“As of right now, I am very passionate about serving in this RA role. Engaging with residents- not only in my hall but also on campus- and just being a familiar face and a friend to everyone has allowed me to pour into others and lead by example. I am so thankful for this platform that God has given me to be a vessel of His love here on campus at SNU.”
Indy has grown exponentially, and her faith has become more personal during her time on campus. This has allowed her to trust God’s plan and learn how to rely on Him in ways she never has before.
